Suffolk Conservatives have today launched their manifesto for the 2021 Suffolk County Council elections. Matthew Hicks, leader of Suffolk Conservatives, and the field of Conservative candidates were joined at the online launch by the Secretary of State of Health, the Rt. Hon Matt Hancock MP.
Matthew Hicks said:
“Since early 2020 our world has changed dramatically and we have supported Suffolk vulnerable residents through the Covid19 pandemic. Suffolk Conservatives are proud to stand on our record over the last four years.
Our manifesto is a positive forward-thinking approach and built on four pillars that run throughout the manifesto:
· We will prioritise Suffolk’s vulnerable residents
· We will strengthen Suffolk’s economy
· We will protect and enhance Suffolk’s environment
· We will deliver real value for money for the Suffolk taxpayer
Suffolk Conservatives will not stand still. There is a genuine sense of optimism in our country with the roll out of the vaccine and us emerging from lockdown and this is reflected in an optimistic, forward looking, positive document to build Suffolk back even better than it was previously.”
