With her vast experience working in different healthcare settings, Heike is passionate about health. She hopes to play a central part in the campaign to improve standards within healthcare provisions in the region. She has lived in Haverhill for 20 years.
Heike enjoys participating in sports and hopes to pass this enthusiasm on by promoting sports, supporting existing sports facilities, and helping create new ones. Sport helps community spirit and promotes people’s health and wellbeing.
Another subject close to her heart is the local infrastructure. Roads and rail will revive the area and lead to prosperity. Heike understands that the existing infrastructure needs to be reviewed constantly. She had the great honour of being the Chairwoman of Rail Haverhill for three years and represented the campaign to three different counties, namely Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. It showed her how vital it is to have a great team locally, regionally, and nationally.
This is one of many strengths the Conservative Party brings to the region. Heike strongly believes that working together with a team, which has strong representations nationally has great potential for changes to be implemented. In comparison to the Independent Party, which has no voice nationally or indeed the wider regional areas.
Heike will listen, collaborate, and work hard to make realistic decisions for the region and to serve people.
