Jessica is delighted to represent the people of the Hartismere division. Jessica has been a Suffolk resident since 2003 when she moved from Colorado, USA where she had spent 20 years working mainly on Government programmes (Environmental Protection and Defence).
Jessica was brought up on a mixed farm in Ireland and qualified in Natural Science and Geology from Dublin and Denver universities. In the UK, she has worked in town planning and environmental assessment. Her main priorities as a Councillor are to engage with residents and small businesses and to ensure that as we gradually shed the current pandemic restrictions rural communities can access the necessary support. She recognises that services will need to adapt and do things differently in the future.
Within the Council, Jessica has held responsibilities in scrutiny, public health and planning and understands the vital role that an effective administration plays, more so than ever at this time.
