Keith is very much a local man living in Oulton Division, Lowestoft. Having spent his working life as a mechanic, M.O.T tester and long-distance Truck driver.
Being interested in promoting the concerns and interests of local people, he successfully stood for election to the Suffolk County Council in May 2017. He has since been appointed to the Education Transport Appeals Committee; the Development and Regulation Committee; the Scrutiny Committee; the Health Scrutiny Committee; and he is the Suffolk County Council representative on the Norfolk and Waveney Health Scrutiny Committee, and an Observer to the North Eastern Citizens Advice Bureau (CANES).
In September 2017, he was elected to Waveney District Council for the Oulton Broad Ward, which is part of the Oulton Division, and he was re-elected for the new East Suffolk Council for the same Ward. At East Suffolk Council he is currently Chairman of the Council and sits on the Scrutiny and Licensing Committees.
Keith is particularly interested in local Primary Health Care, and determined to do all he can to improve the prospects of the Lowestoft and Waveney area.
Oulton is an interesting mix of urban and rural areas with much the same problems as other similar parts of the county with traffic, speeding, parking and anti-social behaviour issues
